My touch screen won't activate. After loading the recommended driver it's still inactive.
Perhaps RETURNING to Windows XP home is the answer. I tried XP Pro and 7 pro and 'no go.'
I have this Panasonic tough book cf-18 that I formatted & re-installed windows xp. I installed all the drivers and in the driver manager it shows all drivers installed, but the touchscreen will not work. I believe that I am needing the touch screen software to make it work, but can't seem to. Your CF-19 is not a dual screen but a touchscreen only. I checked the driver you are using for the touchscreen and that is the right one ( German - tscreen191d050736.exe ) so the Touch Pad should be mouse191d060584.exe. Is the working 19 the same model as the one you are having the trouble with? This Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 also features Concealed mode or a hidden mode for environmental security, disabling backlight, LED status, speakers, 3G, WiFi, and Bluetooth. The Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 is sold at a price from $3.727. Panasonic CF-19 Driver.
Thanks guys and gals!
Is this a good question?
The reason is that the file type.sln is associated with 'Microsoft Visual Studio Version Selector' and the 'Microsoft Visual Studio Version Selector' checks the file for an UTF-8 BOM (0xEF 0xBB 0xBF) at the beginning of the file. Only if the UTF-8 BOM is found, the version information in the solution file is used to launch the corresponding Visual Studio version. Visual studio version selector. If it is not found, then the Visual Studio version, that was installed last, will be launched.premake4 emitted the UTF-8 BOM in function sln2005.generate(sln) in file vs2005solution.lua with the following code: p('239187191')This should be added to premake5's Visual Studio solution file generation, too, to fix the issue. If more than one version of Visual Studio is installed (for example, VS2010 and VS2015) and a solution file was generated by premake5 for VS2010, then double clicking on the solution file will open it in VS2015.

Did you activate your Touchscreen in BIOS?
What happens when calibrating?
Update the mouse driver to the touchpad/touchpanel driver for your model number from the panasonic website. Windows will automatically use a generic mouse driver because mouse 'has' to work. Avira internet security free version. It's is the ps/2 mouse driver that must be updated to the correct driver then your touchscreen should start working correctly.
I'm having problems with my touchscreen also. I have a air force only model and can't find the drivers. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Panasonic was no help at all
